I consider myself a picture maker who tells stories with the use of line, tone and color. My art reflects an inner vision I have of the world around me, it includes representing the figure as a focal point in most of my work. I am drawn to the works of Goya, Daumier, March, Bellows to name a few. All the artists named used the figure prominently to convey a story in their own works. I like to think I am in good company.

My work includes other genre, depending on what captures my fancy. It could be a landscape, still-life, abstract or some other interest. No matter what the subject I enjoy the problem solving of making art.
